Strictly stars James and Ola head to Norwich

16 November 2009

They are two of Strictly Come Dancing's hottest professionals but James and Ola Jordan's dancing know-how is not just to be reserved for celebrities - they will be sharing their secrets to a sultry samba and winning ways with waltzes with 10 lucky Norfolk couples next year.

The husband and wife team will take to the dance floor at the Barnham Broom Hotel, near Dereham, on Friday, March 26 for a dance master class followed by a gala dinner and cabaret performance.

Earlier this year the hotel secured the services of fellow Strictly professionals Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace and the response for tickets was huge.

This time the management expects tickets to sell just as quickly.

Polish Ola, 27, was a youth champion in her native country and James, 31, was a world youth finalist. They have also been the Canada open amateur champions and Japan open professional champions.

The timing of the event means Norfolk will become a hotbed for Strictly talent next Spring. Kristina Rihanoff and Brian Fortuna have also announced theatre performances and workshops in Cromer and Lowestoft next year. On March 23 they will perform at Cromer Pier Pavilion, and on April 4 they return to the region at Lowestoft's Marina Theatre.

Tickets for the Barnham Broom event cost £120 single or £180 per couple for the dance master class and £95 per person for the dinner dance. Special accommodation rates are also available. To book telephone 01603 759393.

Tickets cost £20 for Cromer show from the box office on 01263 512495.

Tickets for Lowestoft (£22.50) are available through the box office 01502 533200 or at www.marinatheatre.co.uk
